EVENTS

Crossroads Plaza Easter Event
This event included pails filled with goodies (including Kimco branded shirts, stickers from Taco Addicts – a tenant, and other prizes). These were given to the first 50 kids. There was an egg lottery where kids drew an egg with a number inside. That number dictated how many eggs they received. For activities, there was an Easter crown-making station and an egg-weaving mat activity. The Easter Bunny was available for pictures and walked around handing out eggs. For entertainment, the DJ host was Carlos with Big Pop Productions. He hosted music, Easter Trivia, a hula hoop contest, and dancing. The event was advertised in local magazines, on Instagram, Facebook, and various Facebook groups.
For promotion, we implemented signage on the property, including a main event sign and signs at the major intersections. We also promoted it across social channels, local magazines, and Facebook groups.
We estimate that there were about 350 kids in attendance, and approximately 80% stayed for more than the egg lottery.
“Usually, at these types of events, kids want to leave after they get candy, here they don’t want to leave!”

Quail Corners Putt & Play Event
This event had a variety of golf-themed activities for the entire family to enjoy. Activities included: ornament decorating, water bottle decorating, Chippo, giant word connect, bubbles, dance contests, bag races, trivia, Big Pop Productions as the DJ host, 5 prizes each event day, an ice cream truck, and a cotton candy and popcorn station hosted by Queen City Dance. Harry’s Grille and Tavern also had drinks specials.
